HTML-based Slideshows

Slide 1 - Sunset

Slide 1 Description - Sunset. Captions allow you to add a descriptive paragraph of text to each slide's presentation to give more information to your users.

Slide 2 - Man on Burro

Slide 2 Description - Man on burro. Your slideshow caption could add a mention of the location, and highlight aspects of the culture here.

Slide 3 - Seagulls in Flight

Slide 3 Description - Seagulls in flight. Slideshows with captions are certainly more interesting than simple titles overlaying the slide images.

Slide 4 - Child carrying vegetables

Slide 4 Description - Child carrying vegetables. And having the captions in plain text on your pages make them visible to search engines.

JavaScript Slideshow Madness

This page demonstrates every type of slideshow my master script can produce. There's no good reason to do anything like this except, of course, to just have a bit of fun. The slideshows on the left rely on parsing the HTML on the page, and the others below generate the required HTML dynamically. The choice is up to you.

This page also shows you some of the styling options available in your slideshows. You can control the font family, font size, and color for the slide titles, add a colored border to the show box, and even change the appearance of the slideshow control buttons.
